This Privacy Policy explains how Bullfrog Bar (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit bullfrogbarerie.com (the “Site”). We've kept it short and plain: we run a neighborhood bar, not a data business.
Information you give us.
If you use our contact form, we collect the name, email address, phone number (optional), and message you provide, so we can reply to you. If you submit a photo through our gallery, we receive that photo and any details you include with it.
Information collected automatically.
Like most websites, we use Google Analytics to understand how the Site is used. It collects standard, largely anonymous data — the pages you view, how long you stay, the type of device and browser you use, the site that referred you, and an approximate location based on your IP address. We look at this in aggregate to improve the Site. We do not take payments or process orders on this website.
Google Analytics uses a cookie (_ga) to tell repeat visits apart and measure traffic. That is the only cookie this site sets on its own. We take no payments on this site and there is no login.
You won't see a cookie banner, and that is deliberate. A banner interrupts you to ask about something that has usually already happened, and most of them change nothing once you click through. So instead the Site reads the privacy signal your browser already sends, either Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. If yours sends one, analytics never loads. No cookie is set. No visit is recorded. Brave and the DuckDuckGo browser send that signal on their own, and Firefox sends it once you turn on “tell websites not to sell my data”.
If your browser doesn't send one, you can still:
You can read how Google handles data at policies.google.com/privacy.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the Site and respond to you — for example our website host, our email provider, and Google Analytics — and where we're required to by law.
You can control cookies through your browser and opt out of Google Analytics as described above. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and opt out of any “sale” of personal information (we don't sell it). To make a request, just contact us using the details below.
Some browsers send a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. We honour both. When the Site sees one, analytics is not loaded for that visit at all.
The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
The Site links to third-party services such as Facebook and Google Maps. Their own privacy policies govern any information they collect.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
