Privacy Policy
Everything this website keeps about you, where it’s kept, for how long, and how to have it deleted.

Who we are
Bullfrog Bar is a neighborhood bar at 3864 Peach Street, Erie, PA. You can reach us at (814) 864-9007 or andyspuberiepa@gmail.com.
Exactly what we keep
It depends on what you do here. We don’t know who you are unless you tell us. We take no payments on this site, and visitors don’t sign in.
If you just look around
- What’s kept
- Which pages you view, how long you stay, your type of device and browser, the site that sent you here, and a rough location worked out from your IP address. Microsoft Clarity also keeps where you tap and scroll, and a replay of each page with anything you type hidden. Our web host keeps a log of each page request: the page, the time, your IP address and your type of browser. If a page breaks, Sentry gets an error report with the page, your type of browser and what went wrong. It also gets timings for about one page request in ten.
- Where
- Google Analytics, under a random ID. No name or email is attached. Microsoft Clarity, under a new random ID for each page. Vercel, our web host. Sentry, which tracks errors for us.
- How long
- Google keeps the visit-by-visit detail for 2 months, and the random ID’s history for 14 months after your last visit. Clarity keeps replays for 30 days. Vercel keeps its request logs for one day. Sentry keeps error reports for up to 90 days.
If you send us a message
- What’s kept
- Whatever you write, and the email address you send it from.
- Where
- Our Gmail inbox, andyspuberiepa@gmail.com, which we share with Andy’s Pub, our sister bar. Our contact form and the email button on our parties page open your own email app with the message addressed to us. You send it from there, so this website keeps no copy.
- How long
- In our inbox until we delete it. Ask us to, and we will.
If you share a photo
- What’s kept
- The photo, its caption, your name and email address, and when you sent it. We remove the photo’s location and camera details before it’s stored.
- Where
- Sanity, the service that stores our website’s content. Once we approve the photo, it goes on our gallery page with its caption and your name. Your email address goes in a separate record the public can’t read, and we never show it.
- How long
- Until we take the photo down, or you ask us to. Your email address is deleted with it.
If Google’s map loads
- What’s kept
- The maps on our pages come from Google. Loading one sends Google your IP address, and Google may set its own cookies. If your browser asks sites not to track you, each map waits until you tap Show map.
- Where
- Google.
- How long
- Google’s own rules, set out in the Google Privacy Policy.
Cookies, and why there’s no banner
Google Analytics sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_SVSF5Z443Q, so it can tell a repeat visit from a new one. Microsoft Clarity sets none. Those are the only cookies this site sets.
You won’t see a cookie banner. Instead, the site obeys the privacy signal your browser already sends, explained below. Brave and the DuckDuckGo browser send it on their own, and Firefox sends it once you switch it on in its privacy settings.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. We honor both. When the site sees one, neither Google Analytics nor Microsoft Clarity loads for that visit, no cookie is set, and Google’s maps wait until you tap them. Our web host still logs the page request, as every web server does, and Sentry still gets an error report if a page breaks.
How we use it
We use your messages to answer you and to plan parties and events. Photos you share go on our gallery page. Visit numbers help us make this site better. We never sell or rent your information to anyone.
Who else handles it
Vercel hosts the site. Sanity stores its content, including photos you share. Sentry tracks its errors. Google provides Gmail, where your emails to us arrive, as well as Google Analytics and the maps. Microsoft provides Clarity. They handle your information to run those services for us.
Google and Microsoft also use what their tools collect under their own policies. Google explains it in How Google uses information from sites that use its services, and Microsoft in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Getting your information, or deleting it
Call (814) 864-9007 or email andyspuberiepa@gmail.com. Tell us the email address you wrote from, or which photo is yours, and we’ll tell you everything we have.
If you ask, we’ll delete it: your emails to us, and any photo you shared with its caption, your name and your email address. Then we’ll let you know it’s done.
Google Analytics and Clarity don’t know who you are, so we can’t pick your visits out. Visit data deletes itself on the schedule above.
Changes to this page
When we change what this website keeps, we update this page and the date at the top.
